TO KENNY:
We will be celebrating 4 happy years of marriage tomorrow. It seems like we’ve only been married a year. You are so easy to love and live with. I am so grateful to you for showing me what real love and commitment is. I admire your quiet wisdom and how you live in the present moment. Here’s to a well-deserved romantic getaway! I love you, sweetie and I look forward to many more years together.
TO EVERYONE ELSE:
The hubby and I are spending a couple of uninterrupted days out of town in a condo on Lake Hamilton. It’s very quaint, quiet, and romantic. I’ll try and post pics later… Until then, be good.

To one of my best friends in the world. Lisa, we’ve been some soldiers down through the years. We’ve laughed, cried, fought, loved, hated, worshipped, sung, played, partied, caught charges, mourned, overcame and celebrated together. You have always been my confidant and the realistic, practical voice that I need. I’m so proud of you and who you’ve become. You’re my sister, friend, and fellow warrior. I love you and may this prove to be the best birthday ever. When my ship comes in, you will be first on my list. You’re the best BIG SIS a girl could ask for. And that’s real talk, dawg. Love ya!
ALISHA= “Truthful”
NICOLE= “Noble”
COLEMAN= “Strong”
I guess God knew what He was doing when he named you. (We still waiting on the “truthful” part to manifest in its FULLNESS though, LOL!)
Is it me, or is the phrase “unsolved Mystery” redundant? Unsolved as opposed to a solved mystery? I mean, if a mystery were solved wouldn’t that make it NOT a mystery anymore? What’s the point in calling it an unsolved mystery? I’m just saying…

Kenny and I came back yesterday evening. Most of my family was over to My sister’s house for Amber’s Birthday party. My dog Coleman immediately started acting bad because “Mama” was home. My family had been singing his praises since I had left. I went to Mama Dear’s to pick up Cody. I figured that he too needed a vacation from our youngest. He looked very rested. My vacation was truly refreshing! I had a chance to be with my husband without interruption (which was nice) as well as do some soul searching and meditating. We were situated in the middle of the beautiful countryside. There’s something about nature that seems to bring you closer to God. Anyway, we connected with family and friends and had a wonderful time. I almost hated to leave. At least I’m back to talk to you. Thanks for all the well wishes!!

In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a box on the right that you can send shout outs to me. I may never talk about anything that makes you want to comment but I still would like to know that you were here. Before you leave, why don’t you drop a short comment in the shout box so I’ll know you stopped by. Heck, leave a couple.
