Today was a lovely day in Memphis. The temperature was in the 60’s and I got quite a few things accomplished. I even managed to take the dogs on an hour walk in the park. They were sooo excited! I’ve been feeling so guilty because we haven’t been walking them as much as we should, so needless to say I was more than happy to let them explore the dog park. I really didn’t have anything weird happen today, even though since the inauguration things have been noticeably more tense in the Memphis and Mississippi area. It’s gonna be alright though… It REALLY is. Some people just act out when they don’t get their way. Tennesse and Mississippi were mainly red states during the election so many of its citizens are dealing with the new transfer of power. But that’s okay though. Maybe it will encourage them to pray more. I know the last eight years have made me a prayer WARRIOR. More like a Prayer GLADIATOR!! But I digress. This was a lovely day.
After reading this post, it made me think about a quote that I will have on my website for this week. See, at work we have to have all of our lesson plans, or what I like to call it-weekly agenda posted on our website. I normally place a quote at the head of each agenda. This week I wrote:
