On Monday, she wore a lace tank, turquoise skirt and belted cardigan – all from J. Crew. A day before the inauguration she was in layers of blue over pinstriped slacks. For the star-studded concert on the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday, she selects a custom camel and black ensemble by Narciso Rodriguez and Loree Rodkin earrings. While paying her respects to the tombs of unknown soldiers she is in a lavender Narciso Rodriguez coat. To retrace an abridged portion of Abraham Lincoln’s train ride into Washington, D.C., Obama accents her wide-collar black coat with a purple scarf and matching gloves

Did you get the email that somebody-not sure who-wanted all women to wear pearls today for Michelle Obama? Not really into pearls-for obvious reasons- so I couldn’t fully support it. She has been at the “top of the fashionistas” hasn’t she!
